Snow King of the Hill Gaming Board

It's taken me nearly a week and a half, but I am finally done. The King of the Hill game board that I've been working on for Day of Reckoning is complete.Sans a few details and the main hill in the middle (which I've decided to make modular anyway, so it can be done later) the board is done. I've poured a lot of time into this and really hope players like playing on it. In fact, I'll be playing a game tonight on the board for the first time. I can't wait.

Here's a shot of the completed board:

It's not extravagant, but it's got some character. The big hill will sit in the middle of the board, and players can remove it when they want to use other terrain and play a regular game on it. I'll be donating the board to our local game store for the event.

I picked up some more trees for the board, and all the ones pictured on it are not glued down. I'm not too sure about what I'll do for the forests. On one hand I want to make a base to set them on, while on the other hand I want to just leave them all modular so they can be switched around.

The board sports two impact craters, two snow mounts, and a broken road. All new additions that I've not done before. I'm really looking forward to playing on it. My next board is going to be a killer, as I've got a big idea for a swamp board. This time around I'll be making a lake, sculpting a large tree, and working with some structures. I'll be sure to post progress shots of that once I get started.
